112. Declarations of Interest

There were no declarations of interest made.

113. Exclusion of the Public

Resolved –

That the public be excluded from the meeting during consideration of Item numbers 4 to 9 on the agenda, on the grounds that they each involve the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in Paragraph 1 of Part 1 of Schedule 12A to the Local Government Act 1972 as amended by the Local Government (Access to Information) (Variation) Order 2006.

114. Public Minutes of the Meeting held on 4 November 2024

           Resolved –

That the Public Section of the Minutes of the meeting held on 4 November 2024, having been previously circulated, be taken as read and confirmed as a correct record.

Members of the public were excluded from the meeting during consideration of the remaining items of business and have no right to inspect the reports,

which were considered whilst the meeting was not open to the public.

115. Appeal for transport to Darlington College

Considered –

An appeal against the Authority’s decision not to provide a solo taxi to accommodate a bespoke timetable to attend Darlington College.

Resolved –

That the Committee concludes from all the available evidence that the appeal be Not Upheld.  

116. Appeal for transport to Michael Syddall Primary School

Considered –

An appeal against the Authority’s decision not to provide free home to school transport to Michael Syddall Primary School.

Resolved –

That the Committee concludes from all the available evidence that the appeal be Not Upheld.

Considered -

An appeal against the Authority’s decision not to provide free home to school transport to Barkston Ash Primary School.                                                                                                  

Resolved –

That the Committee concludes from all the available evidence that the appeal be Not Upheld.
